One of Vienna’s finest traditions is, without a doubt, the sacred ritual of coffee and cake.  Cultural hotspots, Vienna’s coffee houses hosted many a musician, author and artist like Mahler, Mann, Klimt or Freud. These boltholes, happily much unchanged over the years, are social centres of the city and home to delicious confections such as the iconic Sacher Torte, the classic Strudel, or the fun Buchteln (jam filled rolls best savoured with vanilla sauce!). Simply delicious!
