Germany’s autobahns are legendary, and with good reason. They are the world’s only freeways without blanket speed limits. With 8,000 miles of autobahn in Germany, it makes for an exciting playground for Porsche, Mercedes, Audi and BMW enthusiasts! Never mind super cars, it’s just as fun with any set of wheels…
Beware, though, there is an unspoken gentlemen’s agreement in place on these roads. Car brands have a pecking order. If you see a Porsche approaching, best move aside quickly! But, there’s no need to make way for a Volkswagen. Driving a BMW? Just put your foot down.
For those who prefer to take it easy, remember to stick to the right lane when hitting the autobahn. It’s the freshman’s remit.
